This is followed by an alphabetically arranged description of the precious stones with their use for human health.

Polishing of precious stones
Different precious stones are sanded with metal belonging to each one and polished with a special wood belonging to the individual precious stone.

Sale of precious stones
A brisk trade in diamonds began in the 16th century, especially with the legendary country of India. Traders brought the precious commodity to Europe, where experts determined the size and purity of the diamonds before the price was negotiated.
